Belvoir Paws and Claws is a professional and friendly dog training business based in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir.
Hi, I’m Aura , an accredited Dog Trainer with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers). I am also an Approved Dog Trainer with The Dog Training College, a UK Sniffer Dog instructor with UK Sniffer Dogs and a member of the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter. I am currently studying to Level 6 (degree standard) in Canine Behaviour.

I am a force free trainer with an emphasis on proven, ethical, science based teaching methods. I am lucky to have spent over 33 years living with and training dogs. It was through the joy of training my own dogs that inspired me to increase my knowledge and study to become a qualified dog trainer. I have owned many breeds of dogs including labradors, springer spaniels, cocker spaniels and HPRs.

I currently live with my two rescue dogs. A Brittany, found on the streets in Spain, and a working Cocker Spaniel who is the star of Steve Mann's book Easy Peasy Cocker Spaniel.

I specialise in gundog breeds living in pet homes.

I also do voluntary work for several dog rescue charities.
